This Hepplewhite Style Mirror was hand carved in a solid mahogany frame at our workshop in Indonesia and then gilded at our Devon workshops in metal leaf.
This traditional style mirror is a true culmination of highly skilled, specialist artisans worldwide.
The Hepplewhite inspired design has pierced cresting with wheat and flower filled shells hung with leafy festoons intersposed with flower heads. Inner beaded moulds were applied to the glass above a ribbon-tied fan and wheat apron.
Hepplewhite Furniture is known for its delicate features, it is especially light in comparison to earlier Queen Anne and Chippendale Styles.
