The Reynolds Sofa

The Reynolds Sofa is a Regency style sofa. The Regency period, in the early 19th century often featured flat surfaces devoid of intricate carvings or curved lines. Instead, it embraced delicately painted and/or veneered wood, metal inlay, and classical motifs such as rosettes, lion masks, and metal paw feet.

Beginning with swirl mahogany veneers, featuring brass beading and satinwood inlays. Adorned with decorative brass lion heads and ring handles on the arm fascia. It stands on fluted peg feet with brass capping’s. Upholstered in an elegant and richly coloured cotton jacquard, offering Teflon protection for peace of mind. This piece includes four square scatters and a central rectangular scatter cushion.
