The Ribbon Tied Water Gilded Mirror features an oval mirror plate surrounded by a fully hand-carved and gilded mahogany frame. This design is inspired by an original pair of George III mirrors, with shaped leaves encircling the perimeter of the glass, terminating in tied ribbons at both the top and bottom.
Hand-carved by our expert craftsmen in Indonesia, the mirror is then water gilded in gold leaf at our Devon workshops, with carefully painted accents highlighting the various elements of the design. This mirror represents a true collaboration of international artisans.
