Queen Anne Water Gilded Mirror
Exude elegance with the Queen Anne Water Gilded Mirror, a stunning piece that embodies craftsmanship and style. This mirror, inspired by the Queen Anne period, was hand-carved by skilled artisans at our workshop in Indonesia and then gilded in gold leaf by our expert gilder in the UK, representing a true collaboration of global craftsmanship.
The frame features simple beading surrounding the bevelled glass in the outer sections, with an acanthus rosette at the top, accented by surrounding foliage and a lip at the very top, creating a timeless yet understated design.
Circa 1720, this mirror was inspired by original photographs and drawings from our family archives. Historically, the Brights family ran Biggs of Maidenhead, a renowned antique company.
The Queen Anne Water Gilded Mirror is a versatile piece that will enhance both contemporary and traditional settings, bringing a touch of luxury to any room.
