Hand Painted 18th-Century Style Side Table

This ebonised side table features hand-painted Imari-style motifs, blending classic and exotic design elements. The rectangular top, with a moulded edge, conceals a discreet frieze drawer with brass handles for practical storage.

Its distinctive base, inspired by an early 18th-century Althorp piece, showcases arched scrolling legs joined by stretchers. The William and Mary influence is evident, while the scrolling legs hint at Dutch design traditions.

Balancing elegance with historical inspiration, this table is both functional and a striking conversation piece, adding character to any space.
