These incredible acanthoceras ammonites are from from the Cretaceous period and swam our ancient seas between 66 – 145 million years ago

Each ammonite has a wide flat cut base and is freestanding.  Each one has been hand selected by us and each one has it’s own unique naturally formed detail

~Interesting fact~

Ammonites evolved about 416 million years and were once the most abundant animals of the ancient seas. They survived 3 mass extensions, until they were entirely wiped out by the same cataclysm that claimed the dinosaurs about 66 million years ago
