The frame has been meticulously hand carved in mahogany and finished with oil gilding in metal leaf. It features C-scrolls with trailing foliage on either side of the mirror, with a carved swan nestled at the base. The top of the frame is adorned with a carved rose and acanthus leaves, adding to its intricate detail.
