This George III Style Water Gilded Mirror in Napoleonic Finish is a striking gilt and ebonised overmantel mirror featuring a rope and tassel surround, with stylised dolphins supporting candle shelves on either side.
The hand-carved mahogany frame is water gilded in 23¾ carat gold leaf, finished in our signature Napoleonic style. The gilding, laid over dark red bole, is burnished with an agate stone and subtly toned to create a warm and impressive appearance.
