Classic Chippendale Style Overmantel Mirror
The Chippendale Overmantel Mirror is a giltwood mirror inspired by an original design by Thomas Chippendale. Hand-carved in solid mahogany, it features intricate foliate carvings and ho-ho birds on either side, all gilded in metal leaf.
The original design is from the family archives, sourced from Biggs of Maidenhead, an antique specialist once run by our family. Many of Brights’ designs are influenced by this collection of detailed drawings and photographs.
