We have sourced a small number of rare antique preserve pots, complete with original whitewash. These heavy and substantial pots were once used for storing spirits and cooking oil in a remote part of the Nu River Region in Yunnan and date back to the early 1900’s
Each vessel is unique and age-worn with layers of history and evidence of a previous life. Expect to find markings of years of loyal use; including bumps, chips, blemishes and patina ~ all creating charm and wonder
